Arsenal – Burnley

Arsenal welcomes Burnley in a match from the 37th round of the English Premier League. Let’s have a look at this game at the Emirates Stadium.

This match comes just few days after Arsenal went to Madrid to face Atletico in a second leg from the 1/2-finals of Europa League. The Gunners suffered a 0-1 lost at the Wanda Metropolitano and it was their final performance in Europe for this season.

This also means that Arsenal won’t be playing in the Champions League next season.

Arsene Wenger’s team is currently 6th in the Premier League, being 14 points behind the 4th Tottenham. They can’t improve their position in the table until the end of the season, because there are just three games left for them.

Right now Arsenal’s record shows 17 wins, 6 draws and 12 defeats. In their last five games the Gunners won three times and suffered two defeats against Newcastle and Manchester United.

Burnley are 7th in the Premier League with 54 points – three points less than Arsenal. They have a record of 14 wins, 12 draws and 10 defeats since the start of the season. In their last five games Burnley won twice, made two draws and suffered one defeat.

It has been a phenomenal season for Burnley. They achieved much more than everyone thought of them. Now they can even beat Arsenal for the 6th place in the Premier League.

Arsene Wenger could make some changes in his starting line-up for this match. Just three days ago Arsenal had a tough fixture in Madrid against Atletico, so we suppose some of the club’s players are tired at the moment.

This is our take on the Premier League game between Arsenal and Burnley. Whatever you have decided about this one, we wish you good luck!
