Bayer Leverkusen – Eintracht Frankfurt
Bayer Leverkusen faces Eintracht Frankfurt at the BayArena in a match from the 25th round of the Bundesliga. Stay with us because we are going to get you some preview of this fixture on Saturday.
Bayer Leverkusen are nearing another Champions League qualification. At this moment their job is not done though as they are 5th in the standings with 44 points, which is two points behind the 4th Borussia M’gladbach. It seems that the race for the Top 4 in the German league is going to be exciting in these remaining months of the season.
Since their defeat against Hoffenheim Bayer Leverkusen are almost perfect – three wins and one draw. They really managed to regroup after the defeat at the PreZero Arena which is now helping them get really close to the Top 4.
Last week Leverkusen made a draw for a 5th time this season. Peter Bosz’ team had a tough visit to RB Leipzig which ended with a 1-1 draw. The visitors scored first via Leon Bailey, but just three minutes later the hosts equalised.
Eintracht Frankfurt won’t be satisfied with their performance this season and that’s pretty clear. Right now they are 12th in the Bundesliga, which is not what they expected after their strong performance last year. Clearly though Eintracht just can’t find the consistency they had one season ago.
Last week Eintracht Frankfurt suffered their 11th loss for the season. Adi Hutter’s boys hosted Union Berlin at the Commerbank-Arena, but dissapointed the fans and suffered a 1-2 loss. It was Union’s Florian Hubner who scored himself an own goal, but when this happened the visitors already had two goals advantage.
That’s our preview for the Bundesliga fixture between Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday. Given to the performance of the two teams we believe Leverkusen are the favourite here.
